40 Fighters of Taliban Perished in Kunduz

KUNDUZ CITY (BNA) At least 40 members of Taliban group were killed during their Al-Fatah operation in northern Kunduz province within the last 36 hours.
According to BNA report, Colonel General Nabiullah Mirzayee commander of 217 Pamir army corps said, Taliban Al-Fatah operation failed by Afghan security forces with support of Afghan air forces in various parts of Kunduz province.
Including several commanders of Taliban, 40 fighters of the group were killed and 10 others were wounded by Afghan security forces, Mirzayee added.
It has been said, 10 civilians have been martyred, 10 more were injured and heavy financial losses have caused to local residents during Al-Fatah operation.
