Ministry of Defense Denounces Pakistani Army’s Claims, Highlights Security Weaknesses

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan has strongly criticized the spokesperson of the Pakistani army, denouncing their claims as irresponsible and disconnected from reality.

Enayatullah Khwarizmi, the spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Defense, stated in a newsletter that the accusations made by the Pakistani army are an attempt to divert attention and shift blame onto Afghanistan.

The focus of Khwarizmi’s response was the killing of Chinese citizens in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, an area heavily guarded by the Pakistani army.

He highlighted the security weaknesses in Pakistan, suggesting that the responsibility for these incidents lies with the Pakistani government.

Khwarizmi further stated that there are reports of Daesh militants crossing into Afghanistan from Pakistani territory, indicating that Pakistan should be held accountable for the use of its soil against Afghanistan.

The spokesperson emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has provided reassurance to China, assuring them that Afghans are not involved in such acts.

The statements from the Islamic Emirate’s Ministry of Defense come in response to allegations made by the spokesperson of the Pakistani army, who had accused Afghanistan of orchestrating an attack on Chinese citizens in Pakistan.
