Kabul (BNA) United National Security Council delegation arrived in Kabul on Saturday to assess security situation and receive complains has registered by Afghanistan in UN Security Council.
BNA analyst commenting on the issue writes, Kabul hosting a delegation from UN Security Council, United State representatives in UN and senior diplomats from member countries in UNCS are among the delegation.
Source from UN and ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan said, regional problems, particularly, counterterrorism efforts are the main topics of the delegation with National Unity Government’s officials.
As a source quoting from United Nation Organization that the organization has expects from Afghanistan to address threat of terrorism, narcotic drug trafficking, organized crime and providing expansion regional trade.
Beside the issues United National Security Council delegation will be assess complains, already has registered by Afghanistan in UNSC.
Earlier, Afghanistan has registered two complaints at UNSC and both are against Pakistan, the first complaint is about Pakistan’s rocket attacks on Afghanistan’s soil and the second is about the provision of safe havens to terrorist groups.
Political specialists believe that, with arrival of United National Security Council delegation to Afghanistan, diplomacy device of the country has more works for doing.
As a source quoting from United Nation Organization that the organization has expects from Afghanistan to address threat of terrorism, narcotic drug trafficking, organized crime and providing expansion regional trade, it is uncertain that what is the expect of UN?
Meanwhile, Afghanistan people has more words that via diplomacy device and government authorities to deliver for the delegation.
Afghanistan war is a bitter reality for Afghans and is a truth for region, the causes and elements of the war is clear to the world, specially, for United National Organization.
Afghanistan’s issue was an eternal discussion issue in United National Security Council, but UNSC in nearby, alignment and create a consensus among countries involved in Afghanistan case has failed or can’t.
For years Afghanistan’s crisis continuing, but United National Security Council always satisfied by issuing a resolution and regarding the issue UNSC has not presented a plan.
On the other hand, activities and planning of United National Organization is not acceptable for Afghanistan people, frequently names of terrorists had seen in the blacklist of UN, but easily the names pulled up from the list.
Afghanistan people are doubtful about non-movement and effectiveness of United Nation Security Council regarding our country crisis.
Hope that United Nation Security Council realistically and effectively function about Afghanistan crisis and present a comprehensive report for punishment of terrorist groups and the countries that supporting the groups, otherwise United National Security Council will be defied ineffective organ in the mine of Afghanistan people.
