Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Special commando forces repulsed Taliban attacks for the second time in the second district of Pul-e-Khumri yesterday evening.
Ahmad Jaweed Besharat, a spokesman for the Baghlan police chief, told BNA local correspondent, the armed Taliban launched large-scale attacks to retake the second security district of Pul-e-Khumri and regain their lost areas, which were faced with security forces resistance and their attack were pushed back from the second time.
He added, in this conflict, three of their Tank was destroyed by several armed Taliban.
It is worth mentioning that the areas that the Taliban lost in two days have been under their control for six years.
