Deputy PM Kabir Highlights Islamic Emirate’s Cooperation with Regional Countries in Humanitarian Efforts

 

KABUL (BNA) In a ceremony organized by the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) to commemorate World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, expressed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to cooperation with regional countries in various sectors.

The event, titled “Protecting Humanity,” brought together government officials, members of the cabinet, ARCS leadership, Red Cross representatives, and volunteers.

During his speech, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir acknowledged the vital role played by the Red Crescent and Red Cross in Afghanistan and other Islamic countries, where millions of people continue to rely on their humanitarian activities. He praised these organizations for saving countless lives and emphasized the ongoing need for their services.

Recognizing the efforts made by the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Afghanistan, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed the Islamic Emirate’s appreciation for their dedication and thanked them for their humanitarian activities in the country.

Despite national security being ensured under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir noted that millions of Afghans still require humanitarian aid.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir also addressed the challenges faced by the Islamic Emirate, such as restrictions on the banking system, reduced foreign aid, and economic difficulties, which hinder their activities.

The Islamic Emirate’s Deputy Prime Minister’s speech highlighted the ongoing cooperation between the Islamic Emirate and regional countries in various sectors, emphasizing the need for continued humanitarian support for Afghanistan.
