Kabul (BNA) 41 armed insurgents were killed in joint operation of security forces in 11 provinces of the country yesterday.
Interior ministry press office told BNA, the security forces conducting the operations in the outskirts of Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunar, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Maidan-Wardak and Ghazni provinces, killed 41 insurgents, wounded 8 and arrested 19 others.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons were also seized by security forces in the operations.
