Kabul (BNA) As many as 64 affiliates belonging ISIS, Haqqani network and Taliban terrorist groups have been killed during joint military operations conducted by Afghan security personnel within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure security and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Maidan/Wardak, Logar, Zabul, Kandahar, Herat, Badghis, Ghor, Baghlan, Faryab, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
It is mentionable that 28 anti-government militias were wounded during the operations as well, the source added.
