Media Should Compete Through Creation of Sound Atmosphere

Kabul (BNA) Semin Hassanzada deputy minister for publication of Information and Culture Ministry in her meeting with heads of Tolo and Nurin TVs networks emphasized that the media should compete through creation of a sound atmosphere.
BNA correspondent reported, the heads of the Tolo and Nurin TVs informed Hassanzada about problems they are encountering and urged cooperation of Hassanzada in facilitating better ground for improving their activities.
Hassanzada noted that the media through creation of a sound atmosphere try to upgrade their programs qualitatively and quantitatively, not to confront each other or try to weaken each other, and this way they can improve their programs.
She stressed that the Ministry of Information and Culture plans to resolve problems and meet the demands of the media in the light of the law on mass media.
She noted that the ministry will strive to create peaceful atmosphere for solving the media problems and undertake positive measures in the framework of law, and will continue its efforts towards creating of better ground for the media.
According to another report, Hassanzada also had a meeting with Reporters’ Voice Foundation of Afghan Women and expressed her support of their active role in the country’s media.
She also expressed the support of the Ministry of Information and Culture especially the office of the deputy minister for publication with the foundation. She hoped that Afghan women can raise the voice of the silent women and especially the women reporters to the people of Afghanistan and the world.
