Faizabad (BNA) Kisham District Governor in northeastern of Badakhshan province has been injured following a bombing.
Abdul Jabar Musadiq the district governor at local time 9:00 am this morning, while return from a local program toward his office targeted by a bomb explosion and wounded.
Sakhi Dad Haidari security director of police chief in the province told BNA, the district governor along with a person who accompanied him severely wounded following the blast.
It has been said, the bomb placed in a hand cart, when the district governor wanted to get in to his car the bombs exploded.
Haidari further said, Abdul Jabar Musadiq transferred to Takhar hospital for further treatment.
So far, no group or individual taken the responsibility of the incident, but local officials claimed that armed oppositions are responsible of the blast.
