Several Terrorists’ Detained, Explosive Devices Seized

Kandahar (BNA) The national directorate for security (NDS) has said 12 Taliban terrorists and suicide bombers have been arrested.
The deputy spokesman of NDS, Shafiq Tahiri while addressing a press conference here yesterday said that the arrested terrorists during investigation have confessed to their links with militants and receiving training outside of Afghanistan.
Tahiri added that Mohammad son of Zaman of Zarmat district, Paktia province and Mohammad Akbar son of Nabiullah of Sarobi district live in Peshawah were captured on Kabul-Jalalabad highway.
Another terrorist Sadiqullah of Kunduz was arrested in Kabul while supplying explosive device to terrorists inside the country.
The spokesman also noted three kidnapers were arrested from Herat recently and two people including a lady and a child were set free from their clutch.
In a related operation, according to the spokesman for NDS, 34864 kg explosive device and thus foiled series of terror attacks in several provinces of the country discovered.
Stating the NDS personnel would spare no efforts in discovering and foiling terror activities in the country.
