Tourism Institute Opened

Kabul (BNA) Minister of information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen opened the first-ever Tourism Institute in the country yesterday, BNA reported. Aimed at providing professional cadres in the field of tourism, the institute would promote tourism industry in the country by teaching hotel industry and providing services to the guests. In his opening remarks, Dr. Raheen hoped the step would lead to developing tourism and creating job opportunities in the country.  Speaking on the occasion, Nabi Farahi the deputy on tourism at the ministry of information and culture said the 22-room Institute at the cost of 22 million Afghanis constructed on five acres land.
