Dozens ISIS Fighters Killed During ANSDF’s Recent Raids

Jalalabad City (BNA) As many as 43 fighters of Islamic State for Syria and Iraq (ISIS) terrorist group were killed following air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANSDF) in eastern Nangarhar province last night.
The ISIS loyalists targeted and killed in Acheen, Heska Mena, Koot and Door Baba districts of the province.
Commander of Sylab National Army told BNA reporter, 43 ISIS loyalists were killed following the raids.
Several hideouts of the terrorist group along with its military equipment have been destroyed during the attacks, the source added.
According to another report, Afghan security personnel by discovering and defusing five round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent series of blasts in crowded areas of Nangarhar province.
At the same time, two weapon storages belonging ISIS terrorist group have been seized by Afghan security personnel in Koot and Ghani Khail districts of Nangarhar province.
Some heavy and light weapons have been discovered from the storages.
Local officials say, ISIS militants used the weapon storages in their terrorist activities.
