KABUL(BNA): Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, the Deputy Minister of Policy and Health Development at the Ministry of Public Health, met with Terje Magnussonn Watterdal, the General Director of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan (NAC), in his office, Today, May 25th.
The discussion focused on the healthcare initiatives of the Norwegian Committee in Afghanistan. Key areas included enhancing coordination efforts, aligning future plans with the Ministry’s priorities, and developing strategies to improve healthcare delivery.
Both sides emphasized the importance of close cooperation to achieve common goals. They agreed on the need for continuous engagement to ensure the effectiveness of healthcare programs.
It is worth mentioning that next week, technical committees from both sides will hold a meeting to further discuss the activities of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan and its development plans aimed at improving healthcare services in the country.
