Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Security and Defense Forces by launching clearing operations succeeded to annihilate 16 armed oppositions in different parts of the country within the last 24 hours.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operations were conducted with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed rebels and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Urozgan, Zabul, Kandahar, Badghis, Balkh, Faryab and Helmand provinces.
In addition, 14 Taliban militants were wounded during the operations as well, the source added.
