Mehtasrlam (BNA) Eight Taliban insurgents were killed and 18 others wounded in combined operation in Lghman province.
This operation was launched one month back and continues yet.
Sarhadi Zwak spokesman for Laghman governor said to BNA, this operation was launched for cleaning insecure regions from presence of Taliban in Laghman province.
According to the source, 8 Taliban insurgents were killed and 18 others wounded.
Zwak said in this operation the arms of Taliban consists of 22 mines, 2 missile rockets, a vehicle with 3 kg of hashish were seized by security forces.
Three policemen were wounded and 2 others were martyred in this operation.
In this operation, Sayed Koga, Shahedbaba, Tora, Aghakili, Bersram, Maidani, Katel, Marmal and Badiabad regions and center of Laghman province were cleaned from presence of Taliban.
