Sheberghan (BNA) Turkmenistan assisted Afghan poor families who live in border areas of that country with foodstuffs and clothes.
The assistance handed over to authorities of Jouzjan, Faryab and Balkh provinces in Hairatan border the other day.
Haji Ouf deputy minister of Turkmenistan foreign ministry in donation ceremony said that his country will assist Afghanistan in reconstruction fields.
The assistance cost 500,000 dollars.
Afghan local authorities appreciating Turkmenistan assistant in reconstruction of Afghanistan said the assistance will be distributed to poor Afghan families who live in border areas of that country.
