Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Hasina Safi, met with a number of youth and civil activists of Maidan Wardak province yesterday, BNA reported.
The youth and activists complained over what they called lack of the ministry’s attentions towards art and culture of the province and asked the officials to note their demands, the agency added.
According to them, most of the provincial historical monuments were on the verge of collapse, adding there were no attentions made to theatre, tourism, museum and cultural of book reading in the province.
The Acting Minster reiterated her ministry’s support to the province and instructed establishing of a delegation to evaluate their demands. Minister Safi also said that the ministry would prioritize and take further steps in addressing of the issue, after the delegation submit the final report, the agency quoted.
