PUL-E-KHUMRI CITY (BNA) Afghan security forces succeeded to repulse Taliban attack in northern Baghlan province late on Saturday.
Hadi Jamal in-charge of publication in 217 Pamir army crops told BNA correspondent, Taliban fighters had plan to carry out attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Chashma Shir region, Pul-e-Khumri city the provincial capital of the province, which security personnel successfully push backed their attack.
Four Taliban fighters were killed and two mines have been discovered and naturalized during the attack, Jamal added.
