Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) People of Balkh province assisted more than $1,3 00,000 to education department of that province.
The assistances have been done by local councils and people of Balkh province for construction of schools buildings.
Qais Maheraeen head of education department of the province told BNA, the buildings of Fatama Balkhi and Sultan Ghayasuddin schools were constructed in Mazar-e-Sharif, and the construction works of Gohar Shad Bigom and Mir Ali schools to be completed.at the near future
Maheraeen said, the people of the province have been assisted $1,300,000 for constructions and equipment’s of the schools.
He added, it is expected that during the current year 15 schools to be constructed in different parts of the province.
He further added, the big problems of the education department in the province are lack of classrooms in schools and he expressed that more than 20% students are studying under the tents.
