Baghlan (BNA) Armed Taliban launched a large-scale attack on the bazaar of Khost district, Baghlan from several positions, which retreated with casualties.
Zabihullah Rostami, Khost district governor, told BNA, six Taliban insurgents were killed and six others were wounded in the clashes, including Haq Nawaz, the Taliban-shadow governor for Khost district.
According to the source, two soldiers were wounded in the clash.
Another report says, armed Taliban attacked on security checkpoints in Nahrin district of Baghlan last night.
Haji Mohammad Azizi, Nahrin district governor, told BNA, three armed Taliban, including Hares Layzeri were killed in the clash.
