KABUL(BNA): In a series of proactive engagements, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, held separate meetings with Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, Governor of Herat, Mohammad Shoaib Resalat, Governor of Faryab, and Mullah Abdul Samad Javid, Governor of Badghis.
The meetings revolved around, various topics, particularly the management of mineral resources including lead, copper, and Seyah Koh gold mines, as well as creating investment opportunities to attract investors.
They further discussed contractual issues and the concerns of their respective provinces’ residents under the Ministry’s guidance. Emphasizing dialogue and the exchange of ideas, the meetings underscored a collaborative approach towards fostering development and addressing community needs.
In response to the concerns, the proposals put forth by the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum regarding addressing the mentioned issues with the available resources were accompanied by a promise of cooperation.
