Six Armed Insurgents Killed

Kabul (BNA) Security forces conducted a series of clearing operations in a number of provinces of the country and killed six armed insurgents.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the insurgents killed in several operations conducted by security forces in outskirts of Kunar, Logar, Helmand and Nimrooz provinces.
It should be said that five insurgents were also wounded and seven others arrested with a quantity of weapons and explosive.
Meanwhile, national police forces discovered and defused three mines from relevant areas of Charchenou district, Urozgan province.  According to another report, eight armed Taliban killed in a clash with Afghan security forces in Ghazni province yesterday.
Nazifullah Sultani thunder 203 national army corps spokesman said BNA, the clash took place yesterday morning in Andeer district of Ghazni province resulted to the killing of 8 insurgents, wounding 5 and arresting 8 others.
The Source added, during the operation military equipment and 6 motorcycles captured.
It has been said, there were no casualties among civilians and security forces in the operation.
