KABUL (BNA) Nicaragua has expressed its readiness to establish good relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and explore cooperation in various fields.
This announcement came following a meeting between Mawlavi Bilal Karimi, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in China, and Michael Campbell, the ambassador of Nicaragua in China.
During the meeting, the Nicaraguan ambassador, presented a letter of condolence and sympathy from the President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega, to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate, expressing solidarity in the wake of the devastating floods that recently struck Afghanistan.
The Islamic Emirate ambassador acknowledged that the President of Nicaragua conveyed his desire to establish good relations and foster cooperation in various sectors with the Islamic Emirate in the letter.
