Public Health Ministry Launches First Bone Fractures Program in Badakhshan


KABUL (BNA): Dr. Qalandar Ebad, the Minister of Public Health, inaugurated the nation’s first international bone fractures program during his visit to Badakhshan province.

The program, which was unveiled with great enthusiasm, introduces a novel approach to bone fractures care, administered by the country’s orthopedic specialists who have received specialized training.

During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Ismail Wardak, a leading orthopedic specialist, delivered a comprehensive explanation of the Afghan Sign and Tools program to the attendees.

This program is set to play a crucial role in improving the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation processes for patients suffering from bone fractures in Badakhshan and beyond.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Qalandar Ebad, the Acting Minister of Public Health, hailed the establishment of the international bonr fractures care program as a significant achievement for Afghanistan’s healthcare sector.

Dr. Ebad also highlighted the Ministry of Public Health’s ongoing efforts to establish other vital health departments throughout Badakhshan province.
