KABUL (BNA) Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Mammadov, in Kabul.
The meeting commenced with Minister Haqqani warmly welcoming the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kabul, emphasizing the strong bond between Afghanistan and Azerbaijan based on their shared religious, political, and cultural values.
Ambassador Mammadov reciprocated Minister Haqqani’s sentiments, considering the establishment of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kabul as a historic milestone in the bilateral relationship.
