Islamic Emirate Ambassadors Foster Diplomatic Ties, Address Challenges for Afghan Communities Abroad

 

KABUL (BNA) In separate meetings, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, engaged in fruitful discussions with Mawlawi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Iran, and Mawlawi Badr al-Din Haqani to the United Arab Emirates.

These encounters aimed to strengthen diplomatic ties, address challenges faced by Afghan communities abroad, and explore potential investment opportunities.

During his meeting with the Afghan Ambassador to the UAE, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir received a positive report on the resolution of issues regarding document issuing and passports for Afghan residents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Furthermore, he highlighted his engagement with investors from the United Arab Emirates, who expressed their readiness to invest in Afghanistan’s agriculture and higher education sectors.

In another meeting, Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, emphasized the positive state of relations between Afghanistan and Iran.

He specifically mentioned the presence of Afghan students in Iranian universities and the forthcoming distribution of identity documents and passports.

The Deputy PM Kabir expressed gratitude to the ambassadors in Abu Dhabi and Tehran, acknowledging the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to fostering constructive relationships with the international community and neighboring countries, particularly in the economic and political realms.

The Deputy PM emphasized the importance of Afghan embassies abroad focusing on resolving challenges faced by Afghans through harmonious collaboration with host nations.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s desire for positive relations with all nations based on mutual respect.

He emphasized that Afghan representatives should actively identify investment, trade, and transit opportunities in Afghanistan.
