KABUL(BNA) In a meeting held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Deputy Minister Mawlavi Sadr Azam Osmani engaged in a productive discussion with officials from the Peace Foundation, organization dedicated to promoting peace and development in Afghanistan.
The meeting focused on the foundation’s involvement in national and international exhibitions, with a particular emphasis on showcasing Afghan farmers’ and landowners’ products.
During the meeting, Showkatullah Khurram, the head of marketing at the Peace Foundation, provided valuable insights into the foundation’s participation in various exhibitions in Dubai, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, and the upcoming Spring Exhibition in Badam Bagh, Kabul.
The Spring Exhibition, scheduled to take place from May 1st to May 4th, aims to create marketing opportunities and exhibit a wide range of agricultural products.
The Ministry’s office statement highlighted the significance of these exhibitions in promoting Afghan agricultural products on both national and international platforms.
The discussions centered around the foundation’s activities in the provinces, where they have been actively engaging with farmers and landowners to identify and promote products with export potential.
The Deputy Minister acknowledged the importance of such events in fostering agricultural development and economic prosperity in Afghanistan.
He emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to providing necessary support to farmers and landowners, ensuring their products meet international standards, and facilitating their participation in future exhibitions.
With the Spring Exhibition just around the corner, farmers and landowners across the country are preparing to present their diverse range of agricultural products, from fresh fruits and vegetables to dairy and livestock, to a wide audience of potential buyers, investors, and industry professionals.
