However, a curious turn of events saw Kyrgyz player Asgar Bekov inadvertently scoring a goal in favor of Afghanistan.
This historic win marks Afghanistan’s maiden qualification for the Futsal World Cup, solidifying their growing presence in the global futsal arena.

The Futsal World Cup, set to be hosted by Uzbekistan in September of this year, will witness the convergence of twenty-four teams from across the globe.
