Swedish Journalist’s Body Bo Be Taken To Sweden

Kabul (BNA) Dead body of a Swedish journalist killed in Kabul will be taken to his home country today.
The journalist was working for a national radio of Sweden was shot to death by unidentified armed individuals on 11th of March in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan area of Kabul city.
Cristine Nelson, Sweden embassy’s general director of political affairs to Kabul said, “The journalist’s body is to be taken today to Sweden.” Praising Afghanistan security organs and Ministry of Information and Culture for their cooperation in this regard, Cristine said death of the journalist would not put negative impacts on relations between Afghanistan and Sweden. He also asserted murder of the journalist has taken place in a time when presidential elections were to be held in Afghanistan and a large number of journalists might have come to Kabul.
