Wardoj District Cleared From Presence of Taliban

Faizabad (BNA) After one week military operations, Wardoj district, Badakhshan province cleared from the existence of armed rebel.
At least 30 Taliban militants were killed and dozens injured following the operation.
Ahmad Naweed Frotan spokesperson of Badakhshan governor told BNA reporter this morning, Afghan security forces after one week operation could clear Wardoj district from existence of Taliban militants and suffered heavy casualties for them at the end of the operation.
Frotan said nothing about the exact number of Taliban casualties, but Gen. Baba Jaan police chief in the province said, “At least 30 insurgents were killed and dozens wounded during the operation.”
Baba Jaan added some weapons, ammunitions and several vehicles of armed rebels seized by Afghan security forces.
