Kabul (BNA) Five armed insurgents were killed and six others wounded in a mopping up operation conducted by security forces in Laghman province.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the insurgents wanted to carry out destructive activities on security checkpoints in Doulatshah district, of the province, before reaching to their evil goal, five of them were killed and six others were injured.
Numerous of weapons were also seized.
There were no any harm and casualties incurred to security troops and civilians in the operation.
