Kabul (BNA) Recent incidents in Helmand and Kabul in which a number of police lost their lives once again showed a gap in mismanagement of war in Afghanistan. The people ask the relent authorities to be more responsible in in management of war.
BNA military affairs commenting on the issue writes 18 police personals including a commander of a unit of high way have lost their lives. Recently in Tanky region Nah-ri -Surage district Helmand province as a result of air attack of foreign forces lost their lives and relevant authorities simply said that the attack was a mistake.
Police forces in Nahr-I – Surage district Helmand province exactly targeted when fighting between Taliban and police forces was continuing and these forces asked for air help.
In another away from Helmand close to Puli Charkhi Kabul four police of public protecting guard after an hour conflict with armed invaders who have influenced from Safi mountains lost their lives and their check point was burnt by the invaders.
These two bloody incidents in same day were fatal for national police who safe guard the national values. Unfortunately the authorities called the Helmand incident a mistake and expressed regret on Kabul incident and instructed for investigations of the two incidents.
The two incidents indicate that the fighting has not properly managed as required and there in no coordination not only among Afghan security forces but international forces also suffer from the same problem.
What have happened in Nahr-I – Surje was the repetition of disasters earlier occurred in Wardak, Logar, Kandahar, Zabul and other parts of the country. It has been insisted that the foreign forces should explain about the incident and plan for prevention such incident in the future and provide the situation for coordination with foreign forces.
Every incident has been accompanied with instruction of investigation and established investigators for investigating the issue but never the people informed about the results.
The Pul- I – Charkhi incident was also the result of lack of coordination among Afghan security forces.
In general the people are not satisfied with war management.
The say lack of proper management of war, lack of professional people, lack of experience and weakness of intelligence have caused terrorist groups carry out terrorist attacks close to us, cause incidents and kill our sons who are the true defenders of the country.
The people consider assigning of experienced and capable people as the head of departments, knowledge base recruitment and strengthening intelligence personal as a way for settling the problem.
While the challenges are still great, the defense and security forces to overcome the challenges, concrete base should be laid accompanied with public support in order to build a better and safe future for people.
