Herat City (BNA) More than 50 prisoners were released based on president decree in western Herat jail yesterday.
General Azizi director of Herat prison said, the inmates released based on president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani decrees on the occasions of 8th March last year, 1395 New Year beginning and Eid-e-Ramadan.
The people were imprisoned accused of different criminal offenses in the prison.
Nine women are among the released inmates, the source added.
Already based of presidential decrees dozens prisoners were released from the jail as well.
