Workers Wage to Wheat

KABUL (BNA) Tons of wheat have been transported to Kunduz to workers in exchange for wheat, and the program is scheduled to starts in coming days with quotas in the center and districts of Kunduz.

According to reporter, In a meeting to this end, Mawlawi Amanullah Hassan, director of agriculture, irrigation and livestock of Kunduz, said the program is a way of working in exchange for wheat.

He said the program is being carried out by a committee chaired by the governor of Kunduz and some officials from oversight bodies.

Mullah Nisar Ahmad Nusrat, the governor of Kunduz, called the program important and effective to reducing poverty and hunger in the current situation, and stressed the need for greater transparency of the program by the relevant institutions in the province.

The governor of Kunduz asked the district governors and officials to include the needy in the work plan in exchange for wheat.

The program will start in Kunduz as charities continue to work with authorities to reduce poverty in the province by providing humanitarian assistance to needy.
