110 Insurgents Killed, Wounded In Sar-e-Pul

Sar-e-Pul (BNA) 110 Taliban militants were killed and wounded since they started operation under the name of Omari in relevant areas of northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Col. Abdul Qayoum Baqizoy police chief of Sar-e-Pul told BNA, the militants launched their operation 10 days ago in districts of Sancharak, Sozma Qala, Sayad and Sar-e-Pul city, which faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces.
40 armed oppositions were killed, 70 others were wounded, 20 motorbikes and some weapons and ammunitions have been discovered and seized by Afghan security forces during the operation.
Afghan security forces have capability to fight and defeat the enemies of the country anywhere, the source added.
