Taliban commander killed

Kabul (BNA)  a commander of Taliban with his 9 men were killed during an operation by Afghan and NATO forces in Kandahar province yesterday.  The commander was targeted by Afghan and NATO forces in his hideout in the Panjwai district and lost his life.  BNA quoting NATO report , the commander with his nine men were killed in their hideout while organizing of series armed attacks on several security posts in the Panjwai district.  NATO said the commander was responsible for several terrorist attacks in different parts of Panjwai district.  It is being said the Afghan and NATO troops seized a large weapons cache in the operation.  Tens of mines, rocket launcher, light weapons, and hundreds kg of narcotic were seized from the cache.
