ANSF: Mopping-Up Operations Killed Dozens Of Taliban Militants

Kabul (BNA) Dozens of insurgents were killed during joint mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operations were launched aiming to eliminate Taliban militants in relevant areas of Helmand, Herat, Farah, Nooristan, Ghazni, Laghman and Baghlan provinces, in which 106 insurgents including their three notorious commanders were killed, 44 wounded, 26 others were arrested, 12 motorcycles and cars have seized and 32 rounds of different type of mines have been discovered and neutralized by Afghan security forces.
Some light weapons, heavy ammunitions, war equipment and military mobilizations have been discovered during the operations as well.
According to another report, seven Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred due to blasts and throwing heavy weapons by enemies in various parts of the country.
