Maimana (BNA) A Taliban leader was killed in a clearing operation conducted by national police forces in Faryab province yesterday.

Mohammad Reza Rezayee press in charge of Shaheen 209 army crops told BNA, the operation launched in Qaisar and Ghoormach districts, in which a Taliban leader was killed and two others wounded.
According to Rezayee, some villages were cleaned from presence of insurgents and a large cache of weapons were discovered and defused in the operation.
