“Pakistan Has Access To Taliban”: Mustaghni

Kabul (BNA) The spokesperson of Afghan Foreign Ministry urged Pakistan to honestly cooperate in all dimensions for restoration of peace in Afghanistan and in the region.
Ahmad Shakeb Mustaghni acting head of the spokesperson of Foreign Ministry told a press conference that our permanent position towards Pakistan is that this country should honestly cooperate in all dimensions in the practical process of peace talks.
He added that one of the demands is specifying of address of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar for contacting him by the High Peace Council.
He stressed that the recent development is an indicator that Pakistan has much access to the Taliban so we want honest cooperation of Pakistan. He noted that any practical steps taking place for restoration of peace in Afghanistan is welcomed by the government of Afghanistan. He added that the regional and world countries especially Pakistan should practically cooperate towards the peace process in Afghanistan.
He stressed that the government of Afghanistan wants that Mullah Baradar should have full freedom and specific address. Pointing to the recent visit of German Foreign Minister, he noted that during the meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of Afghanistan and Germany discussion took place on further expansion of Germany’s cooperation with Afghanistan especially after 2014 and Germany once again committed continued cooperation with Afghanistan.
He added that the foreign ministry is ready to prepare the ground for participation of Afghan refugees in election.
