Mehtarlam (BNA) Several villages of Alinegar District, Laghman province was cleanup from insurgents in an operation conducted by security troops.
The operation was launched a week ago with hundreds of troops taking part in parts of Alinegar District and is continuing there.
Selab army corps media office in east of the country with releasing a statement said, so far, several village of the mentioned district cleared from insurgent.
In latest conflicts, six armed Taliban have been killed in the operation, the statement added.
