Lashkargah (BNA) 15 Taliban militants were killed and tens others have been injured in latest air and ground raids of Afghan Security Forces in Helmand province last night.
The insurgents wanted to organize a series of raids in suburb of Lashkargah city were shelling by Afghan security forces.
Senior commander of ANA in south of the country told BNA, 15 militants were killed in the raids.
He added, several strongholds of Taliban were also demolished.
Another report says, security officials of Helmand province succeeded to discover two weapons caches of Taliban.
The caches have been discovered in suburb of Lashkargah city and Sangeen District.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons were also seized from the caches.
