Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Gul Babri Zadran a tribal elder in Paktika province who was martyred in terror attack.
According to the information provided by the office of the governor of Paktika province, a suicide attacker in Ashrakhi area of Urgon bazaar during shaking hand with Gul Babri Zadran first opened fire with pistol and injured him and then blew himself up killing Zadran on the spot and injuring three civilians.
Besides condemning the terror attack in its strongest term, the president said that the enemies of Afghanistan by making conspiracies over the past years have been targeting the tribal elders and influential figures who serve for peace and unity of the country.
The president also expressed sympathy with the families of late Shahid Zadran and prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the attack.
