Acting Mines Minister Discusses Investment Opportunities in Mining Sector with Russian Company

 

KABUL(BNA): The acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, in a meeting with the head of the Russian company Yuki Siberia, stated that more facilities have been provided for local and foreign investors.

Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, held a significant meeting with Yuri Pyatkin, the head of the Russian company Yuki Siberia, along with representatives from the Siberian Traders Union and their Afghan partners.

During the meeting, the head of Russian Company expressed optimism regarding the overall security and stability in Afghanistan. Additionally, they conveyed keen interest in investing in the nation’s abundant mineral resources, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

The acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum extended a warm welcome to their keen interest in investment, underscoring the implementation of enhanced facilities catering to both internal and foreign investors.

He further reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to cooperative endeavors, affirming a seamless partnership to foster investment opportunities, all within the bounds of legal and mining regulations.
