Kabul (BNA) About 16 Taliban militants were killed during military operations launched by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces in two provinces.
Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported BNA, the operations were launched to annihilate armed oppositions in various parts of Urozgan and Kandahar provinces, in which 16 insurgents were killed and 6 others were wounded.
Also four persons along with their hand weapons were arrested accused of having connection with Taliban.
Some weapons, heavy ammunitions, military mobilizations and 36 rounds of anti-vehicle mines have been discovered and neutralized following the operations.
