Jalalabad (BNA) 11 Taliban insurgents were killed in a military operation in Nangarhar province last night.
The insurgents were targeted in parts of Khogyani district.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, 11 insurgents were killed in the operation.
The Taliban were suppressed by air and ground raids in Khogyani districts.
It is said that several strongholds of Taliban have been demolished.
According to Nangarhar governor, there were no harm and losses sustained to civilians in the operation.
It is the 2nd round of deadly air and ground raids of security forces on Taliban strongholds in Khogyani district at the last three days.
