Kabul (BNA) Rebuilding of roads and highways would leave direct impacts on national economy. The decades long devastating conflicts have inflicted heavy damages to our roads and high ways and several of these infrastructions were even destroyed. These roads and highway connect our villages and districts and improve their economic growth and situation remarkably. Large numbers of Afghan population are living in rural areas and can exchange their agricultural products and supply to local rural markets and improve this daily life.
Connecting villages with towns and suburbs and provincial capitals not only causes prosperity of people and rural inhabitants but beside that open the way of peace to countrymen, paves the way of education and medical services and create job and business opportunities. All of these can guarantee an independent economy.
The ministries of RRD, Labor and social affairs and agriculture have prepared their plans and are trying to launch rural access programs for rural inhabitants. These programs are at the top priorities of these ministries and the Afghan government.
Their main goals are providing employment opportunities to rural people, improving of rural security, decreasing the level of unemployment, improve rural development and local markets etc.
As our beloved homeland is an agricultural country that its each parts are samples of good unique agricultural products, so the government generally and the MRRD and MAIL are particularly obliged to focus serious attention on establishment of warehouses of agricultural products so to prevent wasting of agricultural products, our agriculture progress sufficiently and enable our farmers and traders to export their products in the name of our own country and ultimately we would enjoy a strong and stable economy.
We can use of agricultural products not only to meet our domestic needs but also can export them to foreign countries that would leave considerable effects behind on our national economy.
We should also construct spring homes for storing of our additional products.
The government should support the private sector and create facilities to process agricultural and others products and these enable horticultures and farmers and products owners to make more investment. Although large number of roads and high ways were rebuilt in recent years but still many others remained ruined. We can say that the main reason was insecurity. Security of roads and highways is one of the most important and basic elements. Establishment of every small or big national project is directly connected to security.
