Pul-e-Khumri City (BNA) Up to 19 anti-government militias lost their lives after they carried out attacks on in different villages of Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province.
Col. Nasratullah Jamshidi deputy of press office in 209 Shaheen army corps said BNA reporter, the terrorists conducted attacks on Qazi, Kokchenar, Bekzad villages and in relevant areas of Baghlan-Kunduz highway, which faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces.
Several vehicles and several rounds of mines have been seized by Afghan security personnel, Jamshidi added.
Military operation ongoing for suppressing armed oppositions in insecure areas of Baghlan province.
