Kabul (BNA) At least 59 armed rebels killed and 34 others were injured during joint military operations led by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of national defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Laghman, Kapisa, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Farah, Baghlan, Badghis, Balkh, Faryab, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been seized during the operations as well.
