Security Situation Is Improving in Kunduz

KUNDUZ (BNA) officials’ security in Kunduz said, by passing each day, Kunduz police are moving towards professionalism.

Mullah Azizullah Omar, Kunduz chief of police, told BNA, although Kunduz, like other provinces, is secure, the Kunduz chief of police and other government agencies have been restarted since the victory of the Islamic Emirate, and its soldiers and commanders are working hard in providing security to the Residents of Kunduz.

The chief of police added, in the past five months, 700 people have been arrested on suspicion of criminal offenses and handed over to the relevant authorities.

He said that in order to professionalize the police, applied work has been done and so far, 590 soldiers have received vocational training in the military training center of the province.

The Kunduz chief of police mentioned cooperation of Kunduz residents with the security forces in providing security, and this is one of the important achievements of that commander-in-chief.

He also reminded of the challenges and problems and called on the relevant authorities to cooperate in resolution to their problems.
