Regions Cleanup From Insurgents in Kunar

Asadabad (BNA) Several regions of Watapor District, Kunar province were cleanup from insurgents in a military operation conducted by security troops this morning.
The operation was started with attendance of hundreds of military with support of air forces and still continues there.
Selab army corps in east of the country with releasing a statement told BNA several regions of the mentioned district have been cleared from insurgents during the operation.
Six insurgents affiliated to Taliban and ISIS groups were killed and number of others were injured.
Four hideouts of the insurgents have been destroyed in the operation.
According to another report, police of Kunar with discovering of ten mines from busy roads of the province, prevented from a series of blasts.
Security officials blamed Taliban for the mine planting.
